Human-in-the-Loop

Human-in-the-loop is an AI operating model in which people remain actively involved at the points where judgment, oversight, escalation, or approval still matter. What is human-in-the-loop?

Human-in-the-loop, often shortened to HITL, means an AI system does not act entirely on its own from start to finish. A person remains involved at the moments where the risk is higher, the context is ambiguous, or the decision needs review before it moves forward.
